The results are in! The Stand held its first sale on 15 May and of the artists sold, each found a new buyer across three continents, including one purchase by a Museum in Miami, Florida. Khula, a charity in South Africa, received enough funds to provide food for a month for 630 school children there. Women for Women International, received funds to sponsor 10 female victims of war for a year to learn skills that can change their lives; such as business skills. With the majority of funds going directly to the artist & 20% going to charity, the Stand is on a journey to establish a virtuous cycle supporting curated emerging artists and philanthropy, essentially establishing the first social impact model for the art world. Bravo @Rena Neville and your amazing team! #auction #philantrophy
